About
Sara Riedel
Founder/CEO, Kala
Sara Riedel is the founder and CEO of KALA Mentoring. She founded the self-funded start-up in 2023.
​
During her tenure at a major pharmaceutical company, Sara led a cross-functional team in the creation and ongoing management of a globally recognized formal mentoring program that fostered and supported professional development in others.
​
Sara witnessed first hand the powerful impact effective mentoring had on both mentors and mentees. She also realized the significant industry gap for impactful mentoring programs.
Sara's background as a former middle school classroom teacher and her lifelong passion for professional development, coaching, and mentoring led her to found KALA Mentoring. She is dedicated to providing the knowledge and expertise needed to help others achieve career breakthroughs.
Sara has received multiple awards and recognition for excellence in sales performance, project management, training effectiveness, and instructional design. Additionally, she has participated in multiple product launches and label expansions.
Sara has received LinkedIn "Top Voice" designations in the areas of mentoring, leadership development, and facilitation. She completed mentor certification from the International Mentoring Association. Sara was also selected as a Marquis' Who's Who biographical listee in 2023.
Sara holds a BA in Secondary Education and Spanish Language and Literature from Michigan State University. She currently resides near Orlando, FL with her family.
